This notice explains how the MilkUp website (milkup.io) handles your information. It covers the website only. The MilkUp platform and mobile apps have their own privacy policy.

Who we are

MilkUp is a livestock and herd management platform based in Dubai, UAE. We run this website and decide how its data is used.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you message us on WhatsApp or send us a note, we receive what you share, such as your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, the size of your herd and your message. We use it only to reply and talk with you about MilkUp.

Website usage (analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited, which device and browser are used, the approximate location (city level), how visitors found us, and whether they click our WhatsApp or “Talk to us” buttons. We do not collect names or contact details this way, and Google does not store full IP addresses for us.

Technical data. Our hosting provider and security tools process technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it safe.

Cookies and your choice

The site does not need cookies to work, so we set no essential cookies. When you first visit, a notice lets you choose:

Essential only. No cookies are set. We still count your visit and your clicks in a basic way, with no cookies and no personal identifiers.

Accept all. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, kept up to 2 years) so we can recognise returning visits and understand usage better.

We remember your choice in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change it at any time:

Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. We use a few providers to run the site: Google (analytics), Amazon Web Services (hosting), Cloudflare (a bot check on our contact form), and WhatsApp, a Meta service, if you message us there. Each handles data under its own terms.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Messages from you are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of our conversation, then deleted or anonymised.
